Helene Ruiz’s career reached a peek when Helene had trauma and suffered a spinal cord injury.Being unable to move freely and do the many things she used to, she found refuge in art.He Father was one of the biggest influences in her, from very early on he supported and fueled the fire of creativity within Helene. He was also a creative soul and a wonderful human being. She states -“My father always taught me to think creatively. He would be my biggest creative influence growing up. I grew up in NYC. I cannot choose any for a particular favorite as they all have their special place in this puzzle of life.”“ The moment I wake up, I am inspired. I am sometimes compelled by my environment and my dreams. I was always called “strange or different” …. but I suppose it is because I see in a different way than others.

A veces me veo obligado por mi entorno y mis sueños. Yo siempre fui llamado “extraño o diferente” …. pero supongo que es porque lo veo de una manera diferente que otros.
